Hi, I’m Jo! I’m a branding expert & Squarespace website designer, with more than 18 years’ experience in graphic design, and 10 years running my own business.
I combine my branding skills and Squarespace expert knowledge to create websites that are brand-specific and meaningful, which nurture connection between my clients and their ideal customers. I’ve designed 120+ Squarespace websites and developed 120+ brand identities for small business owners, plus trained countless people on managing their own websites, and even lectured at TAFE on website design. My mission? Empowering clients to build a standout brand and website that will ensure their success.
Describe your ideal client/project
My ideal clients are passionate small business owners who are ready to level-up and invest in branding/website design that will propel their brand into the future. I also like to work with start-ups that see the value in branding and are willing to invest in their brand early to get the best results. I thrive on developing close-knit relationships with clients that value integrity, clear communication and mutual respect; that trust the creative process and follow a collaborative approach.
What's your style?
My design style leans towards a clean and minimal aesthetic, although I do love it when clients are willing to take risks and try something completely out of the box with a bold edge. My work definitely shows a feminine touch and I aim for simplicity and structure, you won’t find messy over saturated designs here, more considered and refined. I avoid a one-size-fits-all approach and customise designs to each brand’s unique personality, ensuring their brand is at the centre of every creative decision.
What kind of projects are you looking for?
My favourite types of projects are when I get the opportunity to form long term relationship with clients, where we start with their visual branding, then design their website with a firm basis to work from. I specialise in branding and Squarespace website design and only offer these services independently as a starting point. Thereafter I am happy to broaden my service offering for clients based around the brand we have created together, and nurture it moving forward. I only take on website projects that are new builds or complete redesigns, where I can construct the site from the ground up.
What do you charge?
I offer a selection of branding and website design packages to clients. Branding packages start from $1,800 +gst. Website packages start from $3,800 +gst.
